  1. Not to high-jack this thread, but I want to get my girls chipped with their next dentals, while they are asleep, this year. Do the marjority of you chip while the dog is awake or wait until they have a dental or other procedure that they are asleep?
  2. I use Interceptor all year round, it protects against other types of worms also and I use Advantage for fleas during the summer months. I split one tube between both girls. The last application I do is right before we head to Dewey Beach
  3. Welcome from Wilm. DE Your new girl is Beautiful

    Oscar

I am so sorry to hear about Oscar's passing. I always look forward to reading his Diary and seeing him with his Hulk Man.
  6. Wow lots of great ideas. Thanks everyone. I will check out Burpdogs. I have heard everything good about them, now is the time to try them.
  7. Thanks for all the greyt replys and suggestions. I'm glad to hear your puppers can enjoy some harder/hard treats. I will try them with Kerri. I don't want to always be feeding her soft treats, I want to try to keep her remaining teeth healthy and in her mouth
  8. I adopted Kerri two months ago. Before she came to me, she had 21 teeth removed. I soften her kibble and add a little can food or chicken/beef and rice. She has no problems eating. What I wanted to know, is what kind of treats does everyone feed their pups who have had some teeth removed? I have been giving her Gooberlicious, Wellness Wellbites and BillJack soft treats. I am looking for more of a variety.
  9. We use Fresh Factors and Joint Health with great results.
  10. I am 53 and moved in with my Mom 2 years ago to help out with the house, shopping, cleaning, errands, Dr appts. and anything else that comes up. Flossie was my only hound for 5 years and I just adopted Kerri last month. Also work a full time job. Having the 2 girls is no more work than just 1 and the girls are not alone all day while I am at work, my Mom spoils them I'm like you Life is to short! You will never know if you can do somthing until you try it.

  12. Bathing two days before an application should be fine. I wouldn't apply any sooner as their pores open while bathing.
  13. Devon, I was shocked to see the title of this thread. I am so sorry to hear of Skittle passing. I will miss seeing her here on Greytalk. She was such a sweetie. Debbie

  15. Same goes for me. No need to extend
  16. Thanks Jeff, Greyt things are worth waiting for
  17. Flossie likes to watch TV and when she sees animals or a lot of action she will bark. We were at a Nursing Home on Sunday for a Therapy Dog visit and The Incredible Journey was on the TV in one of the common rooms, as soon a she saw it she started barking, first time ever barking in the Nursing Home. I was a little embarassed, but everyone there thought it was cute that she was barking at the TV.
