  1. Make sure you transition gradually...too fast may cause pudding poo to continue. Good luck!
  2. I'm so sorry for your loss of handsome Frisby...I imagine the silence must be deafening
  3. I'm so sorry for your loss...she sounds like she had a wonderful life with you.
  4. Mary Pat, I'm so glad I got to meet her last year. We should all remember not to take a single day with our hounds for granted
  5. Ben is the only one who cut is leg and needed stitches. In fact I took him in early morning and fed him, but he still put him under. Our vet always recommends leaving cuts uncovered to heal faster. However, he does not recommend licking them. Ben wore an e-collar.
  6. Beautiful memories...some tears, but mostly smiles.
  7. A true love story. I hope you'll soon find comfort in the memories.
  8. Welcome to GT. There are some detailed instructions under technical help about posting pictures.
  9. Hope this isn't anything serious. We're going to GIG and I sure hope we get to meet Kebo.
  10. Freddy, we will be at GIG and I hope we get to meet you. We're the ones without the accent I imagine you will have lots of admirers, eh?
  11. I'm so so sorry. You did everything you could possibly do for him. My heart breaks for you.
  12. You are correct, it's 60 days which is why we start end of May or in June, depending on how early spring starts here in ON. thanks Tricia...I was hoping the winter would have reduced numbers, but I guess not. We'll use our flea and tick meds before we get to GIG.
  13. Lisa, it sounds like you've been watching too much Caesar Milan. Dominance theory has been debunked long ago many times. Most folks let their pups work it out but in this instance it sounds like it is escalating, so I would muzzle if you leave them unsupervised. If resources guarding is an issue you may need to separate them at mealtimes.
  14. My thoughts are with you and Remy...he has such a sweet innocent face, it just doesn't seem fair. I'm so terribly sorry you received this dx.
  15. He looks terrific...thanks for sharing. He really healed fast considering how major his surgery was.
  16. Glad to hear the pups will be ok...thanks for sharing.
  17. Wonderful update...glad he is improving so much in such a short time. I would love to see pics too
  18. sending lots of good thoughts for Neko...hope this works...adorable pics too
  19. Not knowing all of the details, but was there any warning, a low growl or quick air snap. It not, it sounds like the other grey doesn't have bite inhibition, or an air snap was intended but a tooth got caught on your grey's ear instead. By your description it sounds like there wasn't a warning though. Often this means that a dog is punished for growling and when they are in an uncomfortable situation, instead of warning they go right for the bite. I'd suggest they talk to their adoption group who may be more familiar with the grey's background.
