Just seeing this, Kim and I am so upset. Prayers for Callie, you and Herman.

My 10-1/2 year old boy has arthritis and he gets two Springtime Joint Health pills in the AM and the PM and he is just fine. Stopped giving him the Fresh Factors and it hasn't changed anything.

I have always used mail order for meds for my greys. I have never had any problems with any of the companies and they are always accommodating. My vet gives me RXs because he knows that having four dogs is very costly when they are on maintainence meds.

Welcome from another Canuck! Lakota is beautiful and that pic of Ceasar is a classic.
DITTO. Ceaser was really a handsome boy and Lakota is beautiful.

My guys are all on 0.06 mg. Have to check the lot number when I get home. Thanks for the post.
Don't you know that my bottle of 1000 pills is one that is being recalled. I purchase my Soloxine from K-V Vet Supply and they were very nice. She gave the pharmacist the website for them to check and they are sending me a new bottle and a postage-paid label to ship back the recalled lot number. They were not aware of the recall.

My friend's greyhound is like that. She can't come back from a walk the same way she went or she has to start really pulling on the lease. She also can't do the same walk day after day. These guys are really strange sometimes.

Congratulations, Kyle. Rush is a beautiful girl. What a nice holiday gift.

Lola is adorable. Congratulations and many happy years with her.
Sorry about Star but you are honoring her by adopting another greyhound and giving her a very obvious, loving home.

So sorry for your loss. Run free, Logan.

I use finely ground Psyllium Husk that I buy by the Lb. at the health food store. It's a lot cheaper than Metamucil.

So sorry to hear about Fuzzy, Irene. Hopefully he is coming around and please let us know what the Ortho says when you see him. Continued prayers.

What worked for me was I stood in back of my big boy and sort of pushed his butt with my knee toward the car/SUV and he had no choice but to jump up because he had no where else to go as he got closer to the vehicle.
Good luck.

You are one lucky lady. It's obvious you have trained Jayne well.

Did anyone think to contact TOTW and ask about this?

I have three big boys - each about 78 pounds.

I've been feeding Orijen for along time now And have been consistently happy with it. It is expensive but on the other hand, I use less of it than the foods I used before. I also feed some raw. I initially changed cause I could really see no good reason for a dog to eat grain and then with the Chinese contamination issues, I was happy to know it was a "home" made food.
When you say you use less, what are you talking about? I give my guys 1-1/3 twice a day.

If it's canine influenza, will that affect the other dogs?

I have two females. They are both markers. They do the same as yours (mark at each driveway- if I allow them to). In fact its so bad that one female Jesse will always mark over Olive. So in the yard, Olive will pee, and Jesse will actually stand behind her waiting for her to finish, then cover Olive's spot. You should see it now that we have a male foster that likes to mark the yard. Its a train of >foster >Olive >Jesse >Bart. Nobody marks over Bart...
My female is the exact same way. Never had problems with the four males I have had, but my females - they are worse than the males in every way.

Mercedes has got to stop creating all of this excitement for you.

Just got the same one and sent Irene a PM.

I can't even add my signature. It won't allow me to type in the box. ????

Fantastic news. Isis is one lucky girl.

Hello, We got our first greyhound in April....a female named Lola. She is so wonderful that we got a boy over the weekend. The problem is ....what to name him! Boy names are hard!! How about some boy name suggestions from the experts!!! Thanks!
If you have a Lola, how about Rico (Copacabana)?

Good Luck, Irene. Hope it's nothing significant. Poor Fuzzy.
