The person who hit you was very kind and laid you carefully on a snow mound where hopefully, your owners will find you and put you to rest. I don't know if you slipped out or you were a feral kitty or you were let to roam, you had to die alone. You will not be alone at the Bridge. There are many who will welcome you. I too feel this way about the little creatures that get away and pass on in a way no one should have to experience. May the angles of the species guide and protect that soul back home.
