2012voltron
Hey everybody. Our newly adopted male Greyhound Loco has a hard lump about 1/2 inch below his right eye. It is slightly larger than a pea and is "floating" underneath the skin. You can actually move it around! He has an appointment April 15th for his first checkup and of course we will ask the Vet about it but I was just wondering if any of you have experienced anything like this. Thanks
greysmom
Could be a few things. My first thought is part of a broken tooth. Also, sometimes a piece of food or treat will get caught way up or back in their mouth above the gums or behind the molars. Usually you can push it back down into their eating area from the outside, or with a finger scoop inside. zimsmom
If it moves probably nothing to worry about. You could call the adoption group you adopted from to see if they noticed it; or noted in their vets notes.
