TXRedbo
Hi all, So Redbo came to us with beautiful, white teefies, and we'd like to keep them that way. We try to brush, but I'm paranoid that we're not getting to all his teeth before he starts get angsty. A co-worker told me about a dental powder her vet recommended (sprinkle on food twice a day or something), and I vaguely remember someone responding to a post on GT with the name of a similar powder. Does anyone have any info about this? Thanks!
XTRAWLD
I haven't heard of powder additive in food, but there is liquid additive for water called Healthy Mouth. a_daerr
There is a powder called PlaqueOff. It did absolutely nothing for either of my dogs!
Feisty49
Brush every day the best you can. I do this with Annie and figure that over the course of a week, every tooth gets a decent brushing 3 or 4 times.

XTRAWLD
Healthy Mouth doesn't do anything for mine. Leba II is a dogsend though. Guest xengab
BRUSH! If you use an enzyme toothpaste for dogs, this will help. My vet says as long as you reach 80% of the teeth the tooth paste will get to the bits you misses when the moves his lips around. But we have the freak of nature dog who LOVES his teeth being brushed..LOL
