Guest Kryspen
Pebbles had a dental last Thursday, resulting in 5 teeth being removed. Occasionally she still bleeds from the mouth. Is this usual, or something I should be worrying about?
XTRAWLD
It's normal, but excessive bleeding should be monitored. Edited: Wait, Thursday. Hmmm, that's a concern depending on the amount.... cristar
Has she been eating anything hard like dry kibble or biscuits? Anything hard can irritate the gums until they completely heal.
greysmom
Yes. Bleeding can be normal, but excessive bleeding needs to be dealt with by the vet. If she had molars removed, you should soak her kibble first. And no hard/crunchy treats until she's healed up.
