TINMANPDX
I just got a new Omega masticating juicer to make green juices. Instead of throwing it all in the compost, do you think I can put some of the remaining solids from carrots, kale, celery, spinach, etc in with the dogs' food? I was thinking of giving it a whiz in the food processor or cooking it in with some chicken livers for them.. Since it has fiber, I wonder if it would be a good poop firmer upper? RaineysMom
if you are giving veggies to the pups, they need to be either pulverized (I use my food processor) or cooked to mush in order for them to absorb any nutrients from them be forewarned, they can result in some pretty stinky farts. I may just try it in stuff I cook for them and see what happens. Quote Theresa (Tess) Mom to Elliott (Sol Flasher) and Lea (PTL Lea)

I use a Nutribullet myself to blend veggies into a liquid "shake" that I pour over their food occasionally. And that is the first thing they go for when I put their bowls down. It pretty much grinds everything down to a fine pulp. I tried a spoonful and it tasted good, albeit a little dry. I am not sure how much nutrition is still there after the juicing process, but I reckon there must be some.
