rschultz
100 mg 1/2 tb every 12 hours for tendinitis in shoulder. Does that sound about right? I have a good vet but he is not very grey savy so I wanted to double check. Lexie is 59-60 pounds Quote Lexie is gone but not forgotten.💜
Hubcitypam
Rex was around 90# and I think he took 100mg twice a day. The website says 2mg per pound per day so that sounds about right. Don't know why greyhound dose would be any different than other breeds.
tbhounds
Rimadyl is dosed by the pets weight. It's given at 1mg per lb twice a day OR 2mgs per lb once daily. Pfizer is actually recommending the once a day dosing (just saw the rep). So for your dogs weight you can give 50mgs twice daily OR 100mgs once a day. If you really wanted a more accurate dose you could actually give 1&1/4 tabs of a 100mg tablet (125mg) once day if your dog is actually 60lbs. :-)
