speedracer
Rue is now 9yr old and has always been crated with no issues. I noticed recently that she has been digging at her crate to get out and barking while were are gone. Could she be developing some SA? BatterseaBrindl
Any reason she has to be in the crate?? Have you tried leaving her out of the crate? How long have you had her? GeorgeofNE
I personally don't crate beyond the housebreaking stage unless a dog NEEDS to be crated for some reason. Maybe consider leaving the door open and see how it goes? Quote Susan, Hamish, Mister Bigglesworth and Nikita Stanislav. speedracer
I have had her since she was 18 months, she had stages where she got into trouble so i decided to just continue her crating, she has always crated well so it was never an issue after a few of her escapades. She will go to her crate to sleep on her own and she goes right to her crate when requested. Now however she has bent up her crate and barks off and on through out day. I have 2 other dogs 1 crated and 1 not that are with her everyday. I am just a bit taken by her newest issue with the crate and wonder what brought it on all of the sudden.
