dbullwinkel
My vet decided to x ray Garry's toe because the corn grew back huge in one week of hulling. This toe is deformed (sticks up). She found a large tumor on the toe...she said looked very nasty. I can only imagine the pain he has been in..I feel so bad. She explained that tumors on the toe do not typically spread like other bone cancers. I am hopeful this will end his problems. I am positive this pain was adding to his depression too. I started working with him to feel comfortable out of my bedroom and increase his confidence...we saw a little improvement..so now I am hoping to see more! He had to stay last nite and I will pick him up after work today. The other dogs missed him last nite!

sweetdogs
So you had the toe removed? She'll be sending it for biopsy, right? Glad he's feeling better & best wishes for speedy healing. dbullwinkel
Garry is home..he was so happy to see me! Everyone was so impressed with his smiling The tumor was so big..took over the entire bottom two sections of his toe. After she gets the biopsy back, my vet said she will speak with Dr. Couto..just to be sure. I have greyt vet! He is definetly "wiped" out...I just let him stay upstairs last night..we took turns spending time with him. Hopefully he will bounce back quick. Has to go in thursday to have his bandage changed. Thanks for all the well wishes for my spooky boy! Edited April 28, 2010 by dbullwinkel
