Guest zombrie
We started fostering our very first grey, and we failed as a foster family and she's just too good to give up! She is 6 years old and it appears that she has never had any dental work and her teeth are in pretty rough shape. In the past two months she has lost two teeth and we'd like to save the rest if we can!! Does anyone know any good, greyhound savvy vets in MA that we can bring her in to get her teeth done? JenniferS
Quiet Man had his dental at the Sutton Animal Hospital, even though that was not his regular vet. They have a lot of grey experience and are well worth the drive. Dr. Jill is no longer there, but her colleague is just as good, and they are not that expensive. zimsmom
Sutton Animal Hospital. I know it's far away but well worth the trip. As a matter of fact I'm bringing Patches down there tomorrow for her dental. It is an hour trip each way for me but they know greyhounds very well. Their cost are very fair. zimsmom
Jen you were posting at the same time as me. Dr Jill is not there? Do you know where she went?
JenniferS
She was actually also the owner and sold the practice to Dr. Ober her colleague. Dr. Ober is the one who does the dentals. But man, Dr, Jill was greyt with those corns! I will miss her Quote Forever in my heart: my girl Raspberry & my boys Quiet Man, Murphy, Ducky, Wylie & Theo www.greyhoundadventures.org & www.greyhoundamberalert.org & www.duckypaws.com
Guest zombrie
Thank you! We wouldn't mind driving all that way if we know they'll do a good job
Guest brindlehounds
I love my vet practice - Main St Vet in Millis. 3 of my dogs just had dentals/extractions and they did a great job.
GeorgeofNE
I used Dedham Veterinary Associates on Bridge Street, in Dedham, but I think you'll find that with two tracks and a vet school in Mass., most vets here are fully aware of the oddities of Greyhound blood work and special anesthesia sensitivities! The specialist I took George to at Dedham Veterinary used did her surgery residency in Jacksonville and worked on tons of hounds, and also has one as a pet! Dr. Amy Kuo is my vet at Dedham Veterinary. She's great! They're expensive though. Quote Susan, Hamish, Mister Bigglesworth and Nikita Stanislav.
