Newgreymom
I've been reading about the benefits of antioxidants for animals. Just wondering if anyone here gives their greyhounds antioxidants and if so, which brand is good?

KF_in_Georgia
I think most kibble formulas contain antioxidants, so many of us are feeding antioxidants that way. Hawthorn
I give mine: Vitamin C Vitamn E I get the capsules from my local health store. I also sometimes give them Pcynogenol (pine bark extract), but not all the time as it's quite expensive. Scooby172
I have been giving my senior (11 plus) galgo, Valor Oxstrin at the vets suggestion. Seems to help, but it is hard to tell. He started taking it after he had pneumonia. I get it online. Linda, Valor, Keeva and Bella
Newgreymom
I spoke with our holistic vet last night, and she recommended a brand called Vetri Science Cell Advance 880. She said it is a good combination of antioxidants. She also stated that there are not enough antioxidants in the foods they eat. I haven't looked the product up to see the cost, I wanted to post this first. If they are not too expensive, we will be ordering them. Forgot, she also said that antioxidants are very important for "free radical" damage, and since Greys are prone to Osteo, it would be a great idea. carronstar
The Vetri Science Cell Advance 880 is $23 on Amazon for 120 tablets. I think I will get some for Aquitaine. It can't hurt and I REALLY don't want to deal with cancer again. I am willing to try anything. So is Aquitaine if it comes coated in peanut butter!
