Guest koolaidnconner
About a week ago we noticed he was scratching and biting himself to the point of obsession. We were and are waking up at night from his biting and scartching. I took him to work one afternoon as I was going to work and the one Vet there did a skin scraping and it came up with nothing. He said that he most likely has an allergy to something. I think this week coming up I am going to get an allergy test done on Conner. On the better part, he is pooping normally and gaining his weight back again. I also wonder whether he could be doing this because he is stressed knowing I am stressed. Here is some pictures of his marks he has done to himself. The grey part on him is the parts going bald: And there are some spots on his face: These bald spots are all over his body, from head to tail. TheFullHouse
Gee does the same thing. It's seasonal allergies for her. I treat her with Benadryl through the fall. Guest Energy11
My friend's grey had this. Turned out to be food allergies. She has to eat a totally grain-free diet. Good Luck!

Guest luvdogs
No chance he could possibly have fleas? I had a non-grey who would literally rip her hair out and end up with bald patches if she had a case of fleas. It was almost like she was allergic to them and just couldn't cope.
