Sneezing Greyhound?

Recommended Posts

Over the last few days, I've noticed that Robin is sneezing.

Sometimes it's just one sneeze. Sometimes it's 3 or 4 sneezes in a row. It's not a constant thing, it's just occasional. Toby doesn't sneeze. Anybody else have a sneezing hound? He's not scratching a lot or showing symptoms of an allergy. Is there something I should do?

Unless he shows some other symptoms, I wouldn't worry about it. Quite a few of mine will sneeze every now and then.

Normally a sneeze is just them clearing all the scents from their nostrils. Unless it seems to be more, I'd say its fine.

Mine sneeze more when they are excited than anything else, which I heard was normal. I would think if it was in combination with other allergy symptoms, then ya, record everything and see the vet.

Otherwise, just stay out of the way :P

When any of my dogs start sneezing the first thing I think of is fox tails. We have cleaned the fox tails out of our yard but sometime they pick them up along a walk. I might have the nose checked for the fox tails by a vet. Better safe than sorry. Those fox tails can cause a lot of problems.
