Guest EmilyAnne
Henry has made it one month of no Grand-Mals again! This doesn't happen very often. The greyt thing is even his Flycatcher Focal Seizures have dissapeared. He was started on Phenobarbital Oct.5th, and we increased his dose Oct. 18th and that is when the almost daily Flycatcher Focal Seizures stopped. My camera battery is unfortunately dead at the moment, hubby is going to get me a new battery later. But for now, here's a few pictures taken the last few days. Henry had some fun digging in the mud yesterday. "Umm..excuse me, I love you extra furry brudder, but.....umm.....this is MY bed." Let's see if there's room for both os us in there.... Nope, only enough room for me! Riley has NEVER been one to sleep in beds in the daytime, and even at night he often sleeps on the floor. We'll have to get another bed just for him. Since obviously Henry doesn't want to share! Henry is doing much, much better than he was a month ago. More and more we see his old personality from before the cluster coming back. Side effects from the meds have not been a big deal. I see more healing from the cluster than I do side effects of the meds. Nov. 18th we will see what his Phenobarbital level is. Currently he is at 300mg a day, divided between two doses. If he makes it two months, we will be THRILLED!

carronstar
This makes me so happy!!!! If Henry likes classical, Bach's Goldberg Variations were written to help someone sleep. I don't fall asleep but they are my absolute "go to" when I am super stressed. The Glen Gould recording is the best but I doubt that Henry really cares. I am going to try to figure it out after lunch is done, and then will burn a new CD. Thank you Tom!
