ShantisMom
She hasn't exactly cost 6 million dollars, but she's worth it I hear ya! We are forking out our fair share. But the bionic man was $6 million. Guess time and technology has cut the cost. Quote The Girls
Guest vahoundlover
cool xray! Glad she's doing well other than the anxiety. No suggestions to offer either.
Guest BlackandBrindle
Can you time the walks for when you give her her pain meds? That way maybe she's more inclined to sleep...
Guest BooMooandDoo
This morning I gave her a sedative and pain pill about an hour before the walk. . she got into her crate on her own. . . . which was a first. . .but she was still howling when I returned. I'm hoping she gets over this real soon!!
Batmom
Would it be any help to take just one boy for a walk at a time, and make your walks shorter for now (so you don't have to walk forever)? Guest Lori
Her incision looks wonderful!! I'm late to the game here, but I've been checking in on her. I know we've had to curtail Ruby's activities a few times, and it is no fun! They get so mad! Keep healing, baby girl!

Sending scritchies to your bionic moose-girl. We've shortened the walks. . . but haven't tried taking the boys one at a time. Maybe we'll try that tonight. Good idea, thanks! Last night DH came home with Truman and Tucker after their walk and instead of letting them off their leashes when they get into the house, he them off outside. . . .which resulted in them barreling through the house .. . . Mazie got up and before I could stop her was running with them. . . .which led to her screaming bloody murder. DH KNOWS that he can't let the two boys off before getting to the kitchen because they get so excited. . . but I guess he had a brain fart. Well he ended up being the one sleeping on the mattress with her last night and having to get up at 2:00 to give her more pain meds. Do you think either one of them learned their lesson? Probably not. . .
