TinyMityMo
Boy, three H&M posts in a week - I'm on a roll. One or both dogs ate a wax seal thing for a toilet today. Sean said it looked like it was just bees wax. The uneaten thing was a flat circle about six inches across but with a big hole in the middle and half an inch thick or so. I didn't know what it was so I didn't put it out of reach. They had a party today and made lots of confetti and mess and ate that thing. I can't imagine that eating wax would be harmful but thought I'd ask. Guest PreciousMom
One of mine gets into the candles every now and then--I think it's the smell. It has never bothered him. Now the candles are in the hutch when i'm not home.

Guest FullMetalFrank
I am pretty sure they are still made from beeswax but maybe you could call the manufacturer to make sure?
PatricksMom
I'd call the manufacturer to see what kind of wax they are. But probably no harm done, except maybe in the poop department. fionasmom
One of my dogs ate some tea light candles. I blamed the wrong one until I saw the evidence in the other's poop. No ill effects.
Guest trevdog
No problems except poop issues. Trevor once ate almost an entire 3 wick candle. Some rather crumbly poo for a few days but other than that he was fine....
