Guest FreddyGirl
Now that the sun is more intense and we have bald thighs and a blad tummy here, I am wondering what sunscreen is safe.
Rickiesmom
I would be really interested too, since the dogs tend to lick anything that's applied.
Ruth
Coppertone makes a SPF 50 spray on for babies. I contacted coppertone to see if it is dog safe and they said the most it might do is upset their tummies if the lick it. I use it all the time on my 2 greys with no problem. It is a lot easier to use than the cream and not near as messy. My 8 year old believes the grass and sun were put there totally for her pleasure . Guest iggalicious
Yeah, my greys like to lay in the sun. Some dog-proof sunscreen would be welcome here. It would be nice to see if anyone has any suggestions. Edited June 10, 2007 by iggalicious
Guest mleg2001
there is a pet one but sells in a 2 ounce spray bottle and only spf 15 http://www.funstufffordogs.com/Qstore/Qsto...PROD=1080228749 The baby ones are recommended for dogs , remember babies will suck on their hands and arms so the ingredients have to natural and safe for them to ingest Edited June 10, 2007 by mleg2001
