    Update!

My desk calendar is on the way.

They felt so bad about the high postage costs and are also sending me a wall calendar for free.  I refunded me almost $10 CAN.

I'm happy to send on the wall calendar for the cost of postage. Should fit on the $20 flat rate within OhCanada box.

If you're sure you don't want the wall calendar, I'll take it!

It might cost even less to send it as an oversize letter, but perhaps not. In any event, I'd be happy to kick in extra for your shipping costs.

  2. AnnIE,

If you're going to be a very bad dog, it's important not to get caught in the act.

    YVT,

    Daisy, a very bad dog

    AnnIE,

Nonchalance is the best post-wipeout attitude. I'm getting a bit too wobbly to be as nonchalant as I'd like, and I'm really only good for a lap or two anyway, but you can still rock it. Go AnnIE!

    YVT,

    Toodles, 14 1/4

    AnnIE,

I am soooooo looking forward to your third and subsequent Adventure Stories, even if your humom is not.

    YVT,

GreyPoopon, who likes reading about other houndies' adventures, especially after cleaning up after one who has reached the stage when "poop happens."

It shall henceforth be known as the Travolta Liberty Flagpole and we shall hope and pray that nobody confuses it with anything that is less than wholesome.

he made it clear that I was his person.  It was kind of like having the most popular guy in high school like you.  :)

It's so awesome when they pick you. I've had it happen a few times, sometimes when I didn't think it was going to, and it always felt wonderful. I usually held out for a connection even if it wasn't, erm, exclusive.

ETA: Have fun next weekend. :beatheart

She won! They just called and I am bowled over. We are getting a $250 credit for Monday's chemo and they are donating $250 to the rescue of my choice (I went with Galgos del Sol). They thanked her for being a great tripod ambassador and us for being such a good client. (I resisted the urge to say "I'd be okay with not seeing so much of your oncology department..." :lol) Yay, Willa!

That's an _outstanding_ prize. A generous total and a nice split between you and a rescue. (You could probably have said that. They'd have understood and laughed.)

    Go Willa!

Fuzzy will join in the mayhem, I lost several books, a baseball cap, a muzzle, and other various things, before I learned to put the muzzle on before I get in the shower or go out of the house. Her favorite targets now are boxes (full or empty, carboard or paperboard), and yes, of course, tissues, new or used.

Edie would have been right there with Fuzzy. She was big on books and tissue boxes. She had a sense of humour too: she killed a dog training book (I agreed with her assessment) and a tissue box with a poodle on the side of it. One day she filched a soda can that slipped out of the carton; the aluminum was no match for her canines ... what a mess.

  6. Even though they're different breeds, your Gelsey and my Daisy are clearly sisters. Daisy has a fascination with white paper, especially tissues and paper towels. She actively seeks out conquests during walks. Sometimes she carries her prize home, sometimes she shreds it (if she has a chance), and sometimes she swallows it. She's not as good as Gelsey at guilt, but she is just as determined to do what she wants irrespective of consequences.
