So intense!
Doolin should be ashamed of himself--treat catching is harder for a tri-pawd. Tsk-tsk.

I'm not sure it's the same technology, but IDEXX offers a version of its poop test that checks for antigens as well as parasites/eggs/whathaveyou. Giardia is an add-on in both the base and fancy-pants tests. My clinic recommends the fancy-pants test(s).

I just get an "empty album" message.

She was a lovely girl.

Yay for fries! (Especially those that don't escape.)

It's great that Mark is healing so well. I hope the french fry test can happen soon.

I'd like to know the story behind that street (lane) name.
Love the ears, both on your girls and angel Georgie.

Highly seconding the Derma Gel, EMT Gel, and/or Manuka honey along with dogbooties dot com.
Yes, yes, and yes. There is even a "medical honey" now available through vets. But ... some dogs think honey is very tasty. My own favourite is Derma Gel.

I was shocked when I saw her final placing.
But Jan is right: Willa doesn't know. Plusalso, her fans here still adore her.

It's too bad that handsome Steve wasn't a good fit, but Fiveo sounds perfect. I hope things continue to go well and he settles in quickly.

Awesome news re x-rays! Go Willa! Modern Dog contest-->pffft

I can't understand why Willa is stuck in 3rd place. She has a great and loyal fan base, but we can't seem to boost her up.

Whew. I'm glad he's home and settling in. Once he has healed, he probably won't miss those teeth ... unless a french fry escapes. The news on his blood is awesome!!

Congratulations!
And good job, Max.
Steve is a very handsome boy. I'm sure he'll be a great addition to your household.

Maybe you should buy a lottery ticket.
You, and Gelsey, are lucky. I've had hounds with (virtually) no teeth through to those for whom regular brushing was enough to keep them pearly white. The hounds with good teeth might not have required brushing, but I started daily brushing before the first hound arrived. I think that the brushing did ensure that the only reasons I've had to do dentals since were because of insufficient pre-adoption dentals (tooth with exposed roots left; a few were infected by the time they got home) and broken teeth.
Toothless Toodles (6--her canines and 2 useless incisors) is very envious.

Wow! His age and especially your time together are very impressive.

Good job AnnIE! Jan too!
I agree about the stylish look. Red is your colour, AnnIE.

You're going to have to change her name to AnnIE, I'm Empathetic.
She deserved all those pats and leans.

Happy 11th Wiki!!!
It's wonderful that you look and feel great!

She looks very comfortable up there. Love the artistically place on-theme blankie too.

I'm so very sorry that your precious handsome boy had to leave.
Godspeed Max.

Oooo, Nate, you are a very lucky boy.

I FB messaged her training kennel and got an immediate reply back:
Hi, thanks for reaching out. We always called fresh “freshy”. She’s always had a lovely temperment. She bred one litter and we intended to breed her again but she had fertility issues. She may have had a couple of niggles in her race career but nothing major. She has a little indent on her neck where she got a bite when she was a pup from one of her litter comrades. Fresh thrives off routine. She’s very clever and knows her kennel. You could let her off anywhere on the property and she would always head back to her exact bed. It’s great to see she’s found a home all the way in North Carolina. We were very fond of her, she’s a lovely dog. Thanks for taking her into your home.
A quick and gracious reply. Sweet.

Wow. That looks awesome!
Exactly what I thought. Perfect for houndies.
I didn't comment on the original post, but my thought then was, "27 years! Holy smokes. I rarely see cars that old around here."

The tongue position is unimportant, especially under the circumstances.
I'm so glad that everything went well and she's feeling good.
