  18. I'm so very sorry. He was so young... Godspeed, sweet boy.
  19. Yes, indeed. Little Girl touched many many lives and hearts. At show & tells, people often thought she was the youngest... Maybe it was her bright eyes and enthusiasm for cookies and scritches. She was usually the last dog standing when all others were crashed out. When folks would ask about longevity, it was wonderful to point out this precious 14 year old as a shining example. Thank you, Greytalkers, for your lovely words of comfort and empathy. My heart has felt very fragile lately.
  20. My sincere condolences to your mom and family on the passing of her precious girl. Godspeed, sweet Khailah.

  23. February 1990 to June 12, 2004 The Divine Ms. Shari was gently released to the Bridge this afternoon, after suffering a sudden onset of very acute pain, with total blockage of circulation to the left front leg. The vet feels that she may have thrown a stroke or that a piece of cervical disc may have dislodged blocking the nerves and blood flow. She is now free from pain and suffering. I was so honored and blessed to share her last two years of loving and life lessons. She was a wise little girl… taught me much about taking time to smell the flowers, notice the clouds, enjoy a lovely spot of sunshine, the importance of taking naps, the ecstasy of ear rubs, and the joy of special treats. Burpdog biscuits were her favorite by far. I hope she finds some in heaven. She was filled with determination and courage, and was so very adaptable, taking changes in stride like a trooper. She leaves a big whole in my heart and home, and will be remembered forever. I know that my precious Sandee has met her at the Bridge, and will guide her through this transition. Godspeed, my sweet baby girl. This was the last photo I took of my two girls… sharing the futon together, with Shari in her jammies.
  24. How heartbreaking. I'm so very sorry. Blessings to all of you who showed him kindness and love, and did right by him. He will be well taken care of at the Bridge by our precious angels. Godspeed, dear boy.
  25. I'm so sorry. It's devastating to discover something like cancer. I have asked my Bridge angel, Sandee to greet Sarah, and run together with complete freedom. Godspeed, little precious one.
