My heart is so sad for Ty and Jeff. I'm sure that Bart was well-loved and cherished during his stay in their home, and knew that he was so very special. He is whole and joyful now. May their hearts heal quickly, comforted by his loving spirit.

Such touching and loving experiences have been shared in this thread. Makes me cry to read all the posts. Your last hours with Millie were terribly traumatic. In time, that pain will fade and your memories of her many years of health and joyous times will be strong. I have experienced the spirit of my heart dog returning through other physical beings... and believe that "death" is only a temporary transitional state. My grey angel boy, Wells responds to the names of my previous retriever heart dogs and has let me know that he's "back", just in different form. Millie will guide you to your heart healer when the time is right.

My heart goes out to Nancy and Dick for the loss of their regal Queen, Suzi. Their tales of her adventures gave me such hope for my greys who are now seniors, and I pray that mine will live as long and rich a life as she did. Godspeed sweet baby girl.

I'm very sorry for the suffering that you both endured... please know that you did the best you could at that time, and she lives with you in your heart. I can feel her love for you, always.
