Hurray for Darcy!!! So glad she is trying out the concept of getting around on her own! (Once she is up and around you might notice the odd lurch if she tries to scratch an itch with the one remaining front leg - my Darwin would forget that he was missing a leg and try to scratch his ear while standing up and would look a bit surprised as he nose-dived toward the floor... He always managed to catch himself in time though!)

I'm just seeing this now - so very sorry for poor Darcy! Many prayers and good wishes for her recovery - the pics of her amputation site look very much like my Darwin's (his was his front left leg) - the first couple of weeks after the amputation are certainly the worst but once she gets through that you'll be amazed how fast she'll be cavorting about again! Feel better soon Darcy!
