I suppose shame is a human construct after all. No regrets for Punkin!

Max is gorgeous There is something specially endearing about those elderly white faces.
for 14 wonderful years!
Your Max reminds me so much of Spirit, my wonderful old man--their rich red brindle coloring is even the same. Max is looking great!

PS: You can tell Nate's dad that his whistle at least got two raised head responses here.
Yes! Here too. My own Nate lifted his head in interest at the whistles and hearing his name.

I'm glad she's doing well. Thank goodness ETS is adorable!

My sister's cat is on the feline version of this med for arthritis in his stifle joints. It's made a great difference in 16 y/o Seiko. He now FRAPs with my 6 year old cat! $106 per injection, no office visit fee since a tech does the injection.

On our last walk I kicked Nate in the leg and kneed him in the head. None of this was intentional, of course, but he kept moving in front of me and the inevitable happened. Trying to feed him is also made more complicated by the cavorting, leaping, and zigzag walking on the way to his crate.

Thanks, Jeff. It's not happened again nor does it seem wide spread.

Jeff, Ducky asked me to chime in here with my captcha experience on GT, since mine was different from hers.
I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad, running Windows 11.
I was in GT and had written a post. When I pressed the Submit Reply button, I received a screen asking me to prove my humanity by putting a dot "where the car's path will end". This was NOT an typical looking Captcha screen at all in look or function. No pictures from which to select, no voice option. Instead there was a drawing of a maze looking scene with a car and a number of colored lines that seemed to represent the car's potential path. No answer that I provided satisfied this screen. I finally abandoned my GT post and decided to try again later. I hesitantly came back to GT the next day and had no trouble posting and there was no sign of the mysterious screen. Unlike Ducky, my issue was not related to signing into the site. It occurred upon clicking the Submit Reply button. Also, it was clearly something other that the typical Captcha screen we are all used to encountering. No collection of photos, but single picture asking the user to click on the car's final destination. There ahs not been a repeat of this for me. I think this happened either last Friday or Saturday.

Punkin, what a fun day you had!

What a difficult situation. Have you discussed this behavior with your veterinarian? Has the possibility of trying medication for her been discussed or attempted? Have you considered consulting a veterinary behaviorist?

She's wonderful! And having so much fun.

Dog is cat.
My cat Tinker is a real lovebug when he wants attention. If I move to pet him when he "vants to be left alone", the stinker actually physically lowers his back away from my hand. That kind of pointed rejection is sure hard on human self esteem.

For the first time eber in my life I got mail! Ma brought in a package and I just ignored it. Those brown boxes are neber for me.
Butt then Ma cut the brown paper and tape off and my elegant schnoz told me that there was somefing extremely wonderful in that tin!
I pushed and shoved and nosed that tin until Ma opened it and gave me a Peanut Butter Cookie! Peanut butter is my favorite! This cookie was magically wonderful and chewy and spendiferous! Here I am chawing on it wif intense focus and delight! Ma, quit laffing at my "prune lips".
I immediately went looking for more!
Ma had 'em, ob course. She promised that they are all mine butt she's gonna dole 'em out.
Thank you so much Miss Jan, Punkin, and AnnIE for sharing these marvelous treats wif me. I love them!
