When I first got him, all he did was look pitiful and follow me around with a look of, "I'm lost, now what" on his face.
I just want to comment on this. I remember reading something on here about this. Greyhounds have been told what to do all their lives, when to eat, when to race, when to pee, and when to sleep...that's why greyhounds will walk around following thinking "Now what?". Am I right? I'm sure I read that on here.

If you are thinking about ordering a lot of them, thinking your grey will love them...try one first. For whatever reason, my Bella did not want it at all! A tiny little nibble on one end, maybe 10 seconds. It's odd cause the smaller 6 inch ones she will devour! It may have been a different brand though.

I was going to say maybe he slipped, but if he's in the bedroom during the day then that can't be it. Maybe he is just displaying what his favorite place is...the bedroom. Or do you have an outside door near the living room? Perhaps someone was knocking on it and if freaked him out?

Each dog is different, some take months to adjust, some take minutes. My Bella walked into the house, did a full circle around the house and jumped up on the couch and laid down. She was calm since then, snuggled from day 1, never had any big issues with her.
I'm sure others will share their experience.

What if you were to now sleep with ear plugs for now (putting them in a different room)? I know, sounds crazy. But if they get use to the fact that mom will not wake up if we whine, then maybe they will sleep.
