Dee,
Hugs and prayers here!! Nan

I have Trupanion on both of mine. Just got a check for $307.00 from them. They paid 90% of the bill with no problems. There is not a max. yearly amound on their policy.

Hey Dee!! It is cold here and a few snow flurries, but nothing is on the ground. Hope things are settling down with your sick hound. We have not lost the power yet, but I do not know how to light the fire place so guess it would get pretty cold here in the house. I am total electric and the fireplace is gas..no chimney so all the heat would just go out into the room. I cut the hand valve off this past summer on the gas line and do not know how to make the gas fill the line back up so I can light the pilot light...LOL..Love, Nan

I have Trupanion on my two hounds. I just submitted a claim and it paid 90% with absolutely no problems. I also like the idea it has no ceiling each year.

I wish Georgia would allow the 3 year rabies shot.

Sponge pink hair rollers (from the 60's) Take the plastic out and throw away. Put gause and triple action ointment, cut hair roller in half with sissors, slip over tail and tape on.

I stopped with the Milkbones and started with the Sam's Yams. All gas went away.

Sheila, No I did not think about an infection. All was well until I adopted my 2nd grey about 3 weeks ago. For some reason, 1st grey thinks we should be on a walk in order for him to go. He just does not like to go in fenced back yard after dark. Go figure.
Oh, I forgot to say thanks. I ordered 2 from the website posted.

My grey is having a tooth extracted tomorrow. The vet is going to give him these drugs: Tramadol 50mg, Deramaxx 75mg and Clindamycin HCI 150 mg. I do not know how often she is prescribing them. Are these OK for a grey to take?

Where can I buy belly bands to fit a 80-85 lb. grey? Thanks

Toddler socks at Walmart are good on their feet. I get the hi-top ones and don't even need to tape it on.

Is it OK to just give 1/2 tablet of Confortis each month to my greys? I have been told this works just fine and saves on medicines. Thanks

I have heard good things about Murray Avenue Apothecary having a Corn/Callus Cream. Their e-mail is www.MurrayAvenueRx.com and their phone number is: 1-888-799-4247 or 412-421-4996 The owner and Pharmacist, Susan Merenstein will be glad to e-mail you information on her product. Hope this helps. Nan

I am getting my 2nd one this week. Took my 4 year old male to meet 3 adoptables and he did not pick out one!! So, I just picked out another 4 year old male and we will go from there. His dental is Tuesday and I can get him anytime after that. There is a dog at the pound that I am taking to his new home in a few days, so after I am finished with that, I will get my new one!

Jess, My dog has sloppy table manners. I used to have to put beach towels on the floor under his water bowl. Then I found this: Neaterfeeder.com Anyway, it solved all of the problems..little pricey, but to me is well worth it.

I cannot brag on New Balance Sweet Potato and Bison too much. It turned my Grey around with his stomach troubles.

If you will e-mail me at Walliered@aol.com, I will give you Dee in Ellajay's contact number. I know she can help you.

I use Petzlife on my grey. I brush his teeth everyday. I use the gel, but think next time I might try the spray.

Dee, that is a beautiful tribute. Thank you, my friend. Blessings, Nan

I had to stop using Confortis because Vet said he may be allergic and switched to Revolution. So far this is working and it is for fleas, ticks and ear mites.

Thanks for the help everyone. I ordered a Premier Treat Bag.

Da Vid and I are going to try training again and I need a good treat bag, maybe one that opens and closes with one hand? Can anyone recommend one? Thanks

My Grey has IBS. My vet took him off of Confortis and put him on Revolution. So far so good! Adams (water based) is great for anything the dog come in contact with..like his bed.

I am taking my grey to the vet tomorrow to have his blood checked for heartworms. It has been one year since I adopted him and I just want to make sure he is free from them. What else should I ask the vet to check for? He is a little weird as sometimes he pants and yawns for no reason. Other than that he seems to be fine. Thanks so much for any information.
