I already PMed you on this but I also wanted to write it here as well. I am so sorry for the loss of Caesar. I lost my 14yr old in April so I know the pain you are going through right now. You guys gave him a wonderful home and now he is waiting to be reunited with both of you at the bridge.

I still can't believe he is gone and on Tues my DH went and picked up the ashes and when he got home he said he kinda hit him. I said now you know what I went through when i went and picked up 2 girls's ashes in the past. Welcome Home Kurri! you are now back where you belong just in a different form.

I am so sorry that you just lost the beautiful Erin. May your memories with Erin help comfort you. It's so sad tha twe just lost beautiful babies within 6 days apart.

AS most of you already know I just lost my boy Kurri at age 14.5yrs old. It was a very hard decision to make but his back end was pretty bad to where he couldn't get up and Tues morninf he started to pee on himself while laying on his bed. I feel guilty because two times today he got up and walked and the 2nd time he walked to me but I ran over before he got to me and I had tears of happiness and told him he made me smile even though it wasn't a great walk. Os I had the check him before going through it to see if there was ANYTHING we could do to help him and keep him alive and she said not really. So we had to make the hardest decision and help him to the bridge. I will keep my sign on name as the name is for my boy I just lost and the numbers are the B-day to my one bridge girl. GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD BYE FOR NOW MY BABY BOY UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. MOMMY LOVES YOU VERY MUCH

Run free sweet Jericho. I am so sorry for your friend's lost. Even though your friend didn't officially adopt him, he probably felt that he was hers also through the love that they shared together.

I let Emily know of the posts and she wanted me to say Thank you to everyone. Also Barbie was so damn cute that that morning at 5AM she woke both of us up and she was in between the beds and was going from my face to Emily's face for petting and of course we did. And that little face that I saw that morning keeps coming to my mind and it makes me sad and happy as she was a cutie!!!! Her racing name was (Ibelieve) was Canadian Barbara.

My friend Emily and I went to Solvang and on Fri her Greyhound Barbie was not looking well so she took her to the local vet there and got her stabled and told Emily to pick her up and so she did and within 5-10min being back at the hotel, Emily and a few others decided to tak her to the E-vet in Santa Barbara because it was the closest one there and within 10min of being on the road Barbie passed away in Emily's arms, and the E-vet said that Barbie had a stroke. Barbie was 4yrs old and had a hard life before coming to the adoption group, but she had 2 fabulous years with Emily and her other hounds and was loved by everyone she met. The weird thing is, is the timing for Solvang was delayed by a week and also the vet cleared Barbie for going to Solvang as they thought she just sprained her neck and also went in her mommy's arms when it could have been worst like if her mommy went to Solvang and Barbie was home and went to the bridge than without her mom being there so we are glad that she was with her mommy when it happened. I know my friend is missing her very much and she was surrounded with friends who are like family to her that helped her in this time of sorrow. I met Barbie on Weds and had the enjoyment of meeting her and she was a very special little girl. Run free little sweetheart for we will miss you and I know your mom Emily misses you very much.

I am so sorry heather and Ken Godspeed Casino Heather both my Major and Casino are Rapido dogs and were both owned by Lynda Marshall. But I didn't see any close relations unfortunately.

I don't know if these people own greyhounds, but they are on the GALT website posing with greyhounds. Craig Ludwig former Dallas Stars (hockey) Babe Laufenberg former Dallas Cowboy (football) Don Gay 8-Time World Champion Bull Rider Ken Hitchcock head coach of Philadelphia Flyers -IAMs I spoke to a gal with GALT and she said that Craig doesn't own any he's just a big fan of Greyhounds and is a Honoray Chairman for them because he does a lot of events with GALT. As Far as the others I'm not sure as I can find out.

This is so sad as my SS sender marked that it was ent on Dec 11 but so far as of Dec 20, no pkgs has shown up and I got today's mail already. For I'm thinking that my SS did send but the USPS lost it.

I know I already posted it in EEG but I thought I would posted here as well. Elliott was 15 1/2 yrs old and he was PTS today. They had him for about 12-13 yrs. He was a very sweet boy who will be missed greatly!!!! I have not seen him for about 6yrs because they moved to Minn. But I had some great times with him. He joind his other 2 fur sibs Hunter and Ethel. Hunter was a Greyhound and Ethel was either a Whippet or a Iggy. Good bye sweet Elliott and run free since the cancer can no longer hurt you and join your DB and DS. I hope we can meet each other again along with my furkids who have passed away.

Jeff I am so sorry to hear about Lexie. My deepest sympathies goes out to you and your family! I have been there twice losing 2 Greyhounds and I know it's not easy! They are our children and now Lexie can run free in the fields in heaven with all the Greyhounds that passed on before.

Thank you everyone for the kind words for she was my beautiful brood that I adopted and she was special. For I had one lady who had to many ales and she tried to take the leash out of my hands and was demanding for 5 min that she was taking the dog home and she didn't want any other at the event just my girl. Also Tina I am so sorry about Joey for it is hard not to give one more hug but I do believe that they are always in our home as our angels watching us and the pups. Please feel free to PM me if you ever need a friend to talk to.

I am so sad for today would have been my 1 bridge girl's 13th B-day for I lost her on Jan 25 2003 and she was just 1 month over of being 11 when I lost her to Blood cancer. For her B-day was Dec 7, 1991 which is the 50th Anniv of Peral Harbor. We miss her a lot. And I feel bad because I almost forgot her B-day. She was a CUTIE!!!! And everyone who met her just instantly fell in love with her.
