Thank you Everyone for the condolences. As it is hard but I am glad that she is not suffering from whatever was making her suffer.

Well some of you know thisalready but on Nov 16 my foster dog Rival who was real sick has passed away and the vet said it was no one's fault as they did find like a poison from a mushroom in her call toad stool? and I know there is none in my yard and there wasn't any in any of the foster's home. Also they did a autospy and we are still waiting on the results from it as they took a piece from her liver and sent it to a lab for testing. So we miss her a lot and she would have been 3 in Jan and now she is sick/pain free. And I hope to see her again one day to tell her that I am sorry for I tried everything to help her and to say sorry I didn't get to say Goodbye for I would loved to help her to the bridge and also I prayed for my 2 bridge girls to come and get her. So now she can rest at peace

Elizabeth I am so sorry for I feel your pain as you know I have lost a Grey to Osteo and so I feel your pain. The weird thing is is that day for me, when I PMTS the vet siad he needed one more shot and said she's is trying to fight to stay alive from the first shot. So I broke down harder. Because I was thinking she was trying to stay alive because she knew I was upset. I am here for you Elizabeth Pm me anytime

I am so sorry for the loss that you and your family is going through right now. She's a beautiful girl. I hate that darn diease has my one girl died from it and more dogs that I know has lost their battle to Osteoarcoma. And I always believe that when they go they come right back to you in spirit to comfort you and to let you know that they are in a better place. What a wonderful connection that you and your girl had that at 11:25 you stopped crying and your family said that it was about 11:25 when she passed. They say that even after they pass that dogs come back into their home for about 1 - 2 weeks.

So sorry for your loss Rosie. Godspeed little one. Run free Rosie as you are no longer suffering from that darn cancer anymore

Oh the poor little girl. Bless her little heart that she never got to be in a home and be spoil. Godspeed little Grey girl whoever you are.

I am so sorry for your lost.. I know it 's hard as I lost 2 girls about 1 yr and 2 months apart from each other. Run free sweet Gramma

UPDATE.... Other members of our group went and picked up their Whippet and their cat and they got a clean bill of health and so they are now staying at one of the group's members home and the owners are trying to get an earlier flight to get home for they fell awful. The body of Tuscany was also picked up and brought to the vets and it is in a freezer so that way the owners can see her one more time. I feel bad for the owners for the first had a miscarriage about a couple of years ago and now this.

One of our members just lost their dog while they were away on vacation. What happened was that they left the dogs in a friends care while they went away and it gets real hot here in AZ and so the girl (without thinking)let the dogs out late morning and discovered this evening that Tuscany has passed away and so the owners received the call. Tuscany is a real cute little girl who will be missed and also she just turned 2 this year. And her family is real heart broken over this as they couldn't wait to get a Grey because they already have a Whippet name Buddy and they just got their Grey last year. I feel bad for them and for their hounds.

I will let her mom and dad and her fur brother and sisters of all the kind words you guys have left about Angel.

I know her family will appreciate all the condoleneces. Her daddy is someone some of you might know which Mike who make the leather collars for Marsha's martingales who is at Kanab every year except this one because he was home with angel. But his wife was there. He is the one that made all those collars in Angel's pics.

One of the members on this board and also in my group just lost their 13 1/2 yr old Grey to Osteoarcoma. She will be missed and her name is Angel and I believe her racing name was Honest Angel. She gave big sloppy kisses, she didn't have much teeth left so she was known as snaggle tooth and she was the sweetest old lady. And I feel bad for them as this was the last thing they needed but she is now running pain free. Below is a couple of pics of her;

I still can't believe that on Jan 25 will be 1yr Anniv that I had to put Dove down. She was a special girl. She had a very strong fast progressive cancers that took her life in 1 month. Everybody love her that met her. I felt bad for her because we were house #5 for her and it was never her fault on why she got returned and so it took her a year to really bond with us. We adopted her officially in Jan 2001 and I would take her to Renaissance Faires and places including Nursery homes and she loved being with people. She always had a special heart for people in wheelchairs for she would be determined to drag me to people in them. And she had the Monty Python's funny walk for she had this darn rash on her chin and no matter what we did, it would never go away and so she would walk and try to scratch it at the same time. She also had the Flying Nun ears. I miss her a lot but I know she's up there with my other bridge girl Kassidy. Oh yeah she was 11 yrs old and looked just like that.

I feel your pain for I lost a Grey last year as well. Also back in 1998 my mom had to put her first Grey down because of Kidney failure and my mom only had her for 9 months. Her name was ROO as well. Her racing name was like DLS Francis or something like that. God bless you and Roo.

My Dove has passed on to journey over the Rainbow Bridge to join up with her sister Kassidy who passed away 11-02-01. We will miss her a lot especially me doing the Renaissance Festival, for that was her favorite place and also I'll miss her lying in her favorite bed whichwas on my side of the bedroom and it was about 3 ft from my bed. I'll also miss her waking me up sayingGood morning by licking my hands and giving me her angel face. It will be very hard. We Love you Dove (aka Love Dove, Dovey Dove, and Dovers). We wish you were home again but please understand I couldn't let you suffer anymore than you did last night. I am so sorry o do it and please understand why baby.
