  1. what **s! i hope Emmy is ok and is back home very soon.
  2. tried this with Loca during her last couple of days with me and it worked well. the vet tech mentioned that the handle was in the best spot to be able to provide painfree support.
  3. I am so sorry for your loss. There seems to be a run on spinal tumours. We will all miss Paris.
  4. Thank you all so much for the good wishes. I'm sure I haven't felt the impact of her loss yet, so knowing I can lean on so many of you is comforting. I wanted her to be with me forever
  5. I'm glad that Nadia is doing better. The unfortunate thing about posting online (or in an email) is that we never know if we are talking about the same thing, or if what you see is what we imagine. I'll be the first to admit that I was guilty of that.
  6. Angie, I'm so sorry this is happening to you and Joey. I hope things settle down and that Joey is back to his old self soon.
  7. i have to agree with the vet recommendations. it she was only tired from running, she would have recovered by now.
  8. dammit, Jey, you made me cry! and i'm at work, where i'm sure they've had enough of my crying
  9. this is great news! i found the patch almost impossible to remove, even using mineral oil. i ended up taking loca back to the vet to have it removed.
  10. phene recently had a dental and he was off for a few days (although with him it's hard to tell ). he wasn't given antibiotics afterwards.

    Vince, I'm so sorry
  17. I'm undecided about whether I should just let her go. She's back in the ICU for pain management. Xrays are scheduled for 3. Will she ever have a quality life?
  18. if a 13.5 year old dog has a slipped disc in her neck, it is possible to keep her comfortable or to give her a good quality of life with non-surgical management? surgery is definitely out of the question.
  19. think it's finally time to change vets?
