For large dogs Advantage should be applied in 3-4 spots along the spine.
With our greys it is hard not to get it on their fur but it does dry. I only use 1/2 tube on mine, but as someone said be careful where they lay because it can damage finishes. (it also takes off nailpolish so I have found out)

Prayers for Roscoe to feel better...hopefully the Big D caused just a temporary irritation to his bowels.
I do hope they check for hooks.

Glad he ate the "slop" Lisa......I know Sage had a battle with hooks. Its possible Roscoe may have picked them up too. Hope you have a good evening and things settle down.

So happy to see him home, have been waiting to see this update all day. Like others have said the incision looks very good.
Charlie has a strong heart and lots of love around him....he is a survivor.
Please make one of those hugs from me and a kiss from Molleigh....hopefully we will get to see him again one day. I am sure he would love to stroll VaBch again.

A Harness.....Molleigh pulls too much and chokes herself with just a collar....sometimes I use both to steer her.

This is just a thought....check the inside of his nose...maybe a wet q-tip to see if any dried blood.
One Christmas my Angel Molly turned her head too fast into the Christmas Tree and she cut the inside of her nostril on a branch......blood everywhere. I came home to blood on the walls, floors, and all down the side of my tan wingchair (thank God for peroxide)where she sat waiting for me to come home.

....exhale Lisa. This infection may need another round of antibiotics....this whole episode probably started when he was "zoning out" and just festered. -
Roscoe you look even BETTER than last Saturday. Antibiotics seem to be doing the trick, they would not have shrunk a tumor. If you are not zoning out anymore I would say you are feelin good and on the mend.
Lisa I think you can get off that roller-coaster now.

Sometimes Postassium Bromide (KBR) can cause hind end weakness. Have they checked his levels? When my friends' Shepherd was on it her rear end was very very weak.
