Stamford is a hike from SE CT.
Depending on where you're looking for a vet, Dr. Cardosa over in RI is greyhound-savvy: http://bigrivervet.com/about.asp There's also Dr. Michelson at Montville Animal Hospital and Old Lyme Veterinary Hospital that local adoption groups have used as vets.
Dr Cardosa is our vet and I can tell you he is fabulous! The man knows his Greyhounds!

I am so sorry it was her time to leave, and I bet she was greeted by every Angel up there.

We use the word 'easy' and stay consistent and Sprinkles has finally got it. She knows if she doesn't take it easy....she's not getting the treat until she does

what is your question?
Seems pretty simple to me. You don't like this dog and apparently the feeling is mutual. If you want to know what others think you should do.....my vote would be to give him up in the hopes that he will find someone that will love him and understand him in all the ways that you do not.

We've been using it for almost a year now and have always prefered the spray. If you follow the directions it works. For us, the spray is easier to apply.
When you start using it, it tells you to spray 1/2 and hour before or after eating, twice a day. On the third day of use, you brush, and continue on with that schedule. It's been a huge help for both Lenny and Wayne

Hope, I am so so sorry. The pictures of her hugging you are so powerful
God speed baby girl, continue to watch over those you have left behind

Tucked in our prayers too! And a very special one from Ekko

Lisa The boys will be tucked so very tightly in our hearts, as will you be on this journey without them. You gave them the life and love many will never experience, and they knew without a doubt how much they will always be loved.

My boys have been together for quite some time and we still have some growling. Usually, I let them work it out themselves only because I know them well enough to know it would not escalate any further than a growl.
They need to learn to respect each other's space, and if it's growling for a reason other than that, I just calming say 'knock it off' and they do. The only time I will intervene is when one is possessive of the couch or my bed, and they really have learned the difference in what space is not theirs, but that took a little time

Robin, it's worth asking Shannon about the one she used for Argos, who was in the same state for quite awhile

Ouch! A pulled muscle will heal in time but bone spurs don't heal. One of my boys had a real problem with bone spurs and what did help him along with meds was acupuncture. I didn't believe in it, but must admit, it really did help him.

Don't post very often but have held you both in our hearts

Continued prayers my friend!
