  12. the vet gave me 10 day course of antibiotics, which we will run with, unless it deteriorates.it does`nt seem to bother pep,but i would not like to see it get any worse. however the vet says its one of those niggly things, wich may require surgery.
  13. Pepper`s toe has flared up again,i took him to the vets, yesterday, the vet said we have a choice of ,antibiotics,or he would open the pad up and have a look to see if he could find anything. i chose the antibiotics, knowing how pep is with stitches .the antibiotics are different from last time, the vet says hot poltices, and try and give the pad a little squeeze to see if anything pops ,easier said than done but alas i think it might need to be opened up.
  14. Sending prayers and thoughts for you and chance
  15. Hi there and welcome, i`m no expert but could the panting be age related. our previous dogs both panted a lot in their latter years, more so when they got anxious. kind thoughts and good luck. is she weeing her bed ? mabe her liver needs checking. one of our previous dogs had a liver problem and used to wet her bed.
  16. I only just found this post the first pics made me cry.but its good to see brody`s in good hands and on the mend. find prayers and thoughts coming your way.
  17. the only advice i can give is keep an eye on it ,it will take a while to heal, especialy being on a pad.
  18. Sorry to hear sadi has got a poorly toe , of course she is a lovely dog ,like her owners, or is it the company she keeps some times keeps:lol hope sadi`s toe gets better real soon , unlike peps which does`nt bother him much but still makes me anxious update please.
  19. Hi gters I took pepper to the vet this evening with his sore front foot. he has a lump inbetween his toes ,and a sore on one of the pads, which on closer inspection looked inflamed, so i decided to take pepper to the vet , which made pep very anxious and me apprehensive on how pep would behave as he does not like anybody touching his sore foot especially a vet! but he was very good he let the vet pullhis toes apart for a closer look, and the vet says pep has an inter digital cyst, which fortunately the the vet says is weeping , which means there is a foreign body in there, and the pad is also infected. he is now on a course of antibiotics , and warm saltwater poltices, wich hopefully willdo the trick.
