Yes, and I don’t want to jinx anything, but right now she’s really healthy!

We’re booked at the Quality Inn but I really need a first floor room or we may have to cancel. Katie will be 13.5 y/o. If anyone is cancelling their first floor room, please let me know. tia

I’m a bit late for the party, but all the best for 2020!

My condolences to all who knew and loved Bella. Our Katie’s sire was Dave the Dog too and his human mom loved him dearly.

Beautiful pups!

You truly sound like a very loving, thoughtful owner. Realizing what’s best for both of you is a selfless act based on love. Some people keep a greyhound even when it isn’t in the greyhound’s best interest which I find troubling when the pup could thrive in a different environment.
A lot of people really judge others when they return their greyhound and don’t know all the facts. My belief is that if you are going to return a greyhound, for whatever reason, it’s in the best interest of the greyhound. Greyhounds adapt to home life very well after the track in most cases, and this life is completely different from their training/racing years. Luna will be fine eventually, and she is lucky to have you because you can prepare potential new owners about her personality and traits which may lead to a successful transition into her new home.

I remember this so well. I’ve had the opportunity to meet John and Deb at a greyhound event, so I’m not surprised they delivered.

Good luck...hope it works out

Hi Alicia! Nice to see some of the old names pop up, and good to see how well you're doing. That's such a beautiful photo of your family!
I don't know if you remember me ... I've had a long hiatus from GT too. I've been busy with my own little greyhound group here in England. A few years ago I got involved with supporting a local branch of the Greyhound Trust and now manage their website and a very active Facebook group for them. Getting new photos for the website is like getting blood out of a stone, but it still brings in a good number of people to adopt and Brambleberry Greyhounds has been commended for their high number of adoptions considering that they are relatively small - for the last couple of years it's been over a hundred adoptions a year and still climbing. We have a new girl - from Brambleberry, naturally - called Jessie. She's a pretty white and blue fawn, she's a smart girl, and is learning fast. We've only had her since February.
I don't suppose you're the lady we used to get the tattoo number necklace tags from? I seem to remember it was someone called Alicia ...Hi Judy

We'll be visiting other houndies...we could have a party!

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Katie is a Broodie and was almost 7 when we brought her home. I knew we wouldn’t have a gazillion years together, however she’s been with us longer than the time we had with two of our other greyhounds.
Bonus...she’s turned into a cuddle bug. Her race name is Crazykatiebug, but it should have been Cuddlekatiebug.
