We got Dean about a year and a half ago, my DD's little fish. Dean was a beautiful turquoisy-blue betta, he lived in a large antique glass jar on the table by our sofa and would always swim up to say hello. This afternoon we found that he had gone, he was fine when I fed him yesterday evening... We'll miss you, little Dean-bean.

Every life is precious, even the little fish! So sorry for your loss.

Swim free little Dean.

I am so sorry. I'm a betta fancier and I know how hard it is to lose them. Especially when you have one with a greyt personality.

How sad for your family, especially DD. It is so hard to lose our fish and other small pets like lizards and little birds since we rarely have any warning that they're ill.
