I'm deeply hurt, I was lied to, he died on Tuesday and I just found out this morning I thought this time it would be different, but what hurts the most is that I never got to say goodbye If I had gone to see her last weekend unstead of going to the weddings, I would have known how bad he was, and could have been there for him Instead my baby died alone, with his mommy 3 hours away I'm sorry Boo, if only I had known..... My last pup (whom I had for 23 yrs) was PTS without me being there and worse yet, without me knowing. I was hurt and angry at myself for a very long time. And I was very angry at my father who never told me. I'm sorry that I don't have any advice, because only you can heal your own hurt and sadness. When my Gumbi passed away, I had a memorial for him by a camp fire. We told funny Gumbi stories, looked at pictures and just remembered all the joy he brought us in his little ferret life. I am so sorry for you loss, we all know how much you cared, and most importantly he knew how much you loved and cared for him, please don't feel guilty that you went to you cousins wedding I am sure it meant a lot to your cousin that you were there, I am sure that Boo in his own cute little ferret way said good by to you, he loves you and always will, always remember that.
