Guest DeniseL
Ok, so me and the DH got a nutribullet a month ago. We love it. The houndage loves it more. Their FAVORITE thing now is to lick a little out of the container when we are finished. I mean they really love the smoothie. As soon as they see us preparing one they are rushing the kitchen. Any reason why we can't make them a little one? Maybe pour it over their kibble? Even Izzy loves it and she won't eat veggies.... Normal ingredients are kale, spinach, carrots, blueberries, melon, apple, banana, etc....most days we add flax seed and a little Greek yogurt... Thoughts? Hawthorn
I haven't got a NutriBullet (although I have been thinking about buying one) but I do give my dogs green smoothies and juices on their meals. I don't personally give mine fruits, but they love spinach, kale and carrots and I put some barley grass powder in as well. It's nutritious and alkalising, so I say go for it if they enjoy it! Guest rathma
very interesting. we have just recently started juicing and I was at a loss as to what to do with all the pulp that's left over. can't exactly compost right now! I started adding it to their meals and they love it. they get very excited when they see me preparing to juice and start licking their chops! I'm currently investigating how to make treats with the pulp as well.
krissn333
I'm currently investigating how to make treats with the pulp as well. Maybe dehydrate it in sort of a "fruit roll-up" type form? You'd need the special inserts for the trays but I think it would work Quote Kristin in Moline, IL USA with Ozzie (MRL Crusin Clem), Clarice (Clarice McBones), Latte and Sage the IGs, and the kitties: Violet and Rose Lovingly Remembered: Sutra (Fliowa Sutra) 12/02/97-10/12/10, Pinky (Pick Me) 04/20/03-11/19/12, Fritz (Fritz Fire) 02/05/01 - 05/20/13, Ace (Fantastic Ace) 02/05/01 - 07/05/13, and Carrie (Takin the Crumbs) 05/08/99 - 09/04/13.
