LaFlaca
Do (healthy) Greyhounds typically have mildly elevated GGT levels as opposed to other breeds? I can't find reference to this in any of my literature. GGT = liver enzyme Gamma-Glutamyl- transpeptidase Quote Irene ~ Owned and Operated by Jenny (Jenny Rocks ~ 11/24/17) ~ JRo, Jenny from the Track Lola (AMF Won't Forget ~ 04/29/15 -07/22/19) - My girl. tbhounds
Ghs can have slightly higher ALT, AST & CK but, I don't find anything about them having a higher GGT.
LaFlaca
We're in the same boat then...I was aware of the ALT but not the GGT. I can't find any mention of GGT levels in any of Dr. Stack's or Dr. Couto's literature. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about...Wendy's ALT and GGT levels were "mildly elevated"...but I do like to be educated on anything Greyhound. Thank you for responding.
