Guest Heehoo
Good article. Jack had one come up on the underside of his tail. I took him to Dr B and he did surgery & removed it. I had already gone through hermangiosarcoma with 2 other greyhounds who quickly passed away and was anxious since it had some of the same words! Thankfully this one is not the same. It has never showed back up, but had it, we would've just taken that one off too. Jack never even noticed he had a handsome scar to show off & laid quietly while I took the stitches out 2 weeks later. Thanks for posting this. kudzu
One of my gets these quite frequently. They do take careful watching as it really isn't possible to know just from looking them if it really is an hemangioma or something more sinister. 4My2Greys
Bruiser, my AB, also got several of these over the years and 6 mos was diagnosis with HSA. I wonder if dogs that are prone to hemangiomas are more prone to developing HSA.
