BauersMom
I have no idea! I am trying to piece together his history and get a hold of his owner. It does explain a lot of his symptoms, from what I have read today. Quote With Buster Bloof (UCME Razorback 89B-51359) and Gingersnap Ginny (92D-59450). Batmom
You can get cross-reactions with other fungal diseases (blasto, histo) as well as some other stuff; how likely you are to get a cross-reaction saying you have coccidiomycosis when you really have one of the other fungals depends on which test was run. But some type of fungal disease is most likely AFAIK. Would have to check as to whether the treatment is the same for all; guessing that it is as there aren't that many antifungals out there. tbhounds
Greyt news- now you have a diagnosis , now it's time to get him on the right meds. You can try roadrunner pharmacy in AR-- Diamond pharmacy is in AR too. You can also try wedgewood pharmacy-- these are all compounding pharmacys (if the medication needs to be compounded of course). I'm currently using SBH pharmacy located in Columbus, Oh-- Ohio state recommended them.
BauersMom
I will be calling a different pharmacy for sure. The local one said it will be $300 for a month. I'm currently using SBH pharmacy located in Columbus, Oh-- Ohio state recommended them. Just have to add a little to SBH pharmacy. Since I am local, I go in to pick up the medicine (almost all of their business is mail order). They love it when I bring Joe or any of my dogs. It's like there is a silent announcement "Dog in the building!" because everyone comes out of their offices and those who are able come out of their labs to give pets and nose kisses and treats. My dogs eat it up! I know that this has absolutely nothing to do with their technical abilities, price, customer service, etc. I just love that they love their patients.
