Well honestly if it was prescribed for 10 days or up to 3 weeks I would be tempted to finish it out. That may be the wrong approach but if it's not causing adverse side effects that's likely what I'd do. I'm not one to jump onto anti-b's but once started I tend to want to finish them out.

I second calling the vets office to check with them.

 

No need to give the antiboitics, and possible cause stomach discomfort, if they are not needed. Glad there is no UTI, and good luck!

Pup still having symptoms? Sometimes UTI's can be sneaky & not show up in culture.
