Guest GreyGary91806
The vet confirmed no UTI , I should stop the antibiotics right??
kudzu
Well honestly if it was prescribed for 10 days or up to 3 weeks I would be tempted to finish it out. That may be the wrong approach but if it's not causing adverse side effects that's likely what I'd do. I'm not one to jump onto anti-b's but once started I tend to want to finish them out. MaryJane
How long has he been on the antibiotics and how long was he supposed to be on the antibiotics? Has this been a recurring infection? I'm tempted to say finish the antibiotics but, in this case I think more information is needed.
Feisty49
I'd call the vet's office and ask them.
Guest Energy11
I second calling the vets office to check with them. No need to give the antiboitics, and possible cause stomach discomfort, if they are not needed. Glad there is no UTI, and good luck!

sweetdogs
Pup still having symptoms? Sometimes UTI's can be sneaky & not show up in culture. tbhounds
I would finish the round of antibotics. If the urine was very dilute when you submitted the sample the bacteria may very well have been flushed out.
