Hooray For A Uti!

We were back at the vet today...this time with Dash. A simple UTI. She's on antibiotics and should make a full recovery. :confetti

Normally I wouldn't post something like this, but with the run of really crummy luck we've been having lately I'm REALLY happy to ONLY have a UTI to deal with! I think our vet was happy to see us walk out with our dog today, too. :)

Wonderful news...hope Dash gets better soon. I've lost track, is Dash the pup from the oops litter, or maybe that was Primo. :dunno doesn't matter, just wondering if Dash was a youngun

Easy fixes are great!

Out of curiosity, do you think that Dash will be more predisposed to things like UTIs, given her odd parts and the fact that she had to have some surgery to make things work better?

Our vet thinks so, but she's 2.5 and this is her first one, so maybe we'll get lucky and she won't be too predisposed. :goodluck

Gosh, it's so hard to believe she's 2.5 already! Well, that's good news that this is her first one...hopefully they are few and far between :goodluck One of my iggies is the UTI king, so, we know what that is like  I've found that a tsp of ACV + a tsp of raw organic honey mixed in with his food helps keep them at bay, thankfully. We were spending a fortune on vet visits, UAs and antibiotics.
