Guest 2dogs4cats
I currently feed Canidae canned and dry and have been very happy with it. Now the service that cleans my yard is offering free dog food delivery, but only Evanger's, no other brands. It looks like a quality food, but wondered if anyone uses or has used this food and if you liked it or didn't like it? It would just be nice to have food delivered with no delivery fee. Thank you for any thoughts.
Guest K9Cookies
We've used Evanger's canned food from time to time. The hounds love it and the quality seems excellent. Food delivery would be awesome!
Batmom
I've often used the canned (most often the 100% meats) and have occasionally used the dry. Have never had an issue with quality, palatability, etc. Quote Star aka Starz Ovation (Ronco x Oneco Maggie*, litter #48538), Coco aka Low Key (Kiowa Mon Manny x Party Hardy, litter # 59881), and mom in IllinoisWe miss Reko Batman (Trouper Zeke x Marque Louisiana), 11/15/95-6/29/06, Rocco the thistledown whippet, 04/29/93-10/14/08, Reko Zema (Mo Kick x Reko Princess), 8/16/98-4/18/10, the most beautiful girl in the whole USA, my good egg Joseph aka Won by a Nose (Oneco Cufflink x Buy Back), 09/22/2003-03/01/2013, and our gentle sweet Gidget (Digitizer, Dodgem by Design x Sobe Mulberry), 1/29/2006-11/22/2014, gone much too soon. Guest Greyt_dog_lover
Personally I wouldnt look so much at the quality of the food, rather how do your hounds handle the food? Loose stool, if so, I wouldnt change. Just go to the store and get a small bag and see how things look after a week. Chad
fritofeet
You might try googling Evanger's. If that doesn't come up with anything, add FDA to the string and then decide if you want to feed Evangers.
Guest 2dogs4cats
It looks they have had some problems as has Canidae, Nutro and many many other brands. I feel every brand has had a problem or a recall at some point. How do you make sense of it all?
Guest sirsmom
We used the cans years ago with good luck and tried the dry once with no luck
GeorgeofNE
Before I changed food for "free" delivery, I'd find out how much they'd charge for a bag, then call a local pet store and find out how much they charge. You're likely to find the "free" delivery is offered to make up for a higher price. Quote Susan, Hamish, Mister Bigglesworth and Nikita Stanislav.
