Charlies_Dad
When we adopted Shelby last May, her teeth were so bad that she lost 17 teeth during her dental. We have been brushing the remainder along with the Petzlife spray however her canines are still bad. The vet then stated she wanted see whether they could be saved but now her gums are inflamed and bleeding so they got to go. Any suggestions in the meantime to help stop the bleeding? She is on Metacam for any pain. Tks. GreyKarma
Gee I thought you were talking about Molleigh Her gums bleed, even with the petlife gel....we are doing antibiotics once a month and it seems to help...just a certain type of bacteria in her mouth, her teeth are not that bad and she has not lost any yet. Guest barkdogs
If the bleeding is caused by stomatitis, there isn't much you can do until she has the extractions. The petzlife can't hurt, but really she will feel better after she heals from the teeth going. I have a few dogs with very few/no teeth at all. they get on really well and they have no trouble eating! Good luck!
SAVED2
Hydrogen peroxide on a small paper pad has worked for us , stop using the tooth brush.
