Guest jmaccop
My Lady Katie keeps breaking her teeth off and exposing the roots. Does anyone have any ideas of how to cure it or stop it or maybe a way to keep vet bills down because all the tooth extractions are getting quite expensive. tbhounds
Is she chewing on bones?
GeorgeofNE
If her teeth are breaking off, then she probably just has really weak teeth. I've never in my life heard of a dog whose teeth are just breaking off--she must be chewing on something hard. Can you elaborate? Quote Susan, Hamish, Mister Bigglesworth and Nikita Stanislav. Trihounds
I suspect she is chewing without you knowing it. Bumper's canines are fractured and ground down terribly. We were told he was a crate chewer, but he has never exhibited any similar behavior with us (2 years). Watch and her carefully to see if you can determine what she is chewing. If you give her hard bones or antlers or anything, then she may just have weak teeth.
