Snoring

A few times over the last six months, my 10 year old has had periods of snoring. Just when I decide to take to get him checked out, the snoring goes away. Well, the snoring is back and it really sounds more nasal than in the throat. Initially I was worried he might be showing signs of LP. Interestingly, he shows no other signs of breathing issues when he's awake and the snoring subsides once he goes into a deep sleep. I've been removing his tag collar at night just to make sure there's no pressure on his neck. Just curious if anyone has seen this. I find it interesting that it comes and goes so it seems more like colds but the frequency sort of concerns me. He's due for his rabies shot so I'll be taking him to the vets next week but I thought it would be good to have additional insights if anyone has experienced this with their pups. Thoughts appreciated.

Our 8 year old snores softly from time to time.. I think it's normal (for her anyway). Our beagle snores all time time, and loudly.. like DW..

Dogs do snore and they do get upper respiratory illnesses.
