Dog Attack, Chai Wasn't Hurt But I'm Concerned

I'm so glad Chai wasn't hurt. You're so lucky that your local police and animal services will actually take action. Sadly, that is not the case in my city.

 

I have to agree with Judi, not all dogs will defend themselves. Carl won't, even though he towers over most dogs we meet walking. My Sheila attacked him at home and he just covered his head with his front legs and screamed (while I pulled her off of him). When we walk I carry pepperspray and a walking stick and keep threatening to purchase a stun wand.

Just now seeing this. I'm glad your pup wasn't hurt, or your son. This could have been worse. I'm also happy to see AC was called, and things seem to have worked out. I have a dog that won't defend herself. I carry a stun gun now.
