Guest l_davison
Hi: I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent me good wishes and good advice. You have no idea how much you helped. A special thanks to Tina (TinasTroops, CaleenD and DorasMom for recommending Ostrander Vet Clinic in Tillsonburg. I figured if 3 people mentioned that vet, then that was a good place. Maggie goes for her first accupuncture treatment on Monday, and at least now I can be optimistic. I know it won't cure her, but I will do anything for her that will help. This is such a wonderful web site. I was lost as to what I could do when the vet said it was a matter of weeks before the disease would get worse and she did not offer any ideas other than the medication Mag is on. Sure, I could have called a lot of veterinarians, but how would I know if they were any good or not. I didn't even know that there was accupuncture for animals. Mag has only ever had dentals and yearly shots, so I do not have a ton of experience. She is also my first dog, so I guess I kind of learn as I go. Anyhow, thank you, and I will keep you posted.
