Guest StarsMama Posted January 10, 2009 Share Posted January 10, 2009 Hi. My name is Hope and I live in Portage WI. Star is my first Greyhound. She's black and 6 years old. I adopted her from a track here in Wisconsin in Jan '06. Through some research I found she also raced in Arkansas and Texas. We also had a Springer named Milo, but he died a year ago. In the spring we're going to get another Springer. Star's been solo for awhile now, so I can't wait to see how she takes to a new puppy. I found GreyTalk a few weeks ago and have enjoyed reading all the posts. I don't know anybody else that has a Greyhound, and she is a lot different from any dog I've ever had. Just a word of caution......some greyhounds don't really care for puppies, so you might want to expose Star to some puppies before getting one of your own....just to see how she does with them.
